Publisher's description
Search and bulk rename files across multiple folders or entire drives.
ByteShift EnTitle provides fast cross-folder renaming for multiple files in a single batch operation. Search recursively from a starting folder for the files to operate on then sort, filter and group if required before automatically renaming every file in its existing folder.
With EnTitle there is no need to move or consolidate files before renaming. The interactive spreadsheet-like grid allows search results to be visually grouped and organized by file attribute such as name, location, type, size or last modified date, then related groups of files selected for controlled batch operations.
For convenience, individual files can be renamed directly in the search results view. Extended file selections and groups of related files can be operated on independently, and multiple times, without having to search again using different criteria.
The 'Before and After' rename preview allows you to see how each file name will appear before committing to the batch operation. Support for exporting search results to Excel and CSV, or printing to multiple formats, allows file list reports to be created for off-line review and approval. Detailed logging allows failed operations to be quickly identified or audit reports to be created.
